• Farrell Talks ‘Triage’ Trauma

  Canada.com had a chance to talk to Colin Farrell about his upcoming drama/mystery Triage, in which he plays Mark Walsh, a war photographer who suffers from posttraumatic stress disorder after returning home from an assignment without his partner.  For the role, Farrell had to lose 40 pounds, as well as familiarize himself with the history of the Magnum photo agency and the work of real-life war photographer Frank Capa.
  
  "I'm always very careful to say how hard our work experience is, because, at the end of the day, I really do feel so deeply that we're all so lucky in what we do and we are representing, we're not really living. . . . I have a nice hotel room to go back to, and stuff. But with respect to all those truths, I was knackered at the end of it because, inevitably, you're spending three months, 14 hours a day, in the skin of this man who suffering an utter psychological implosion."
