Chris Shields is a film and television actor/writer from Natchitoches, Louisiana. He is better known for his work as ‘Corporal Venner’ on NBC’s “Battlestar Galactica”. Shields also was a recurring character on the popular Stephen King television series, “The Dead Zone” as well as the Chris Haddock series, “Intelligence”. Most notably, Shields won the role of Richard Pryor in the NBC movie of the week, “Behind the Camera: Mork and Mindy”. He has also had memorable roles on the television series, “Lil’Romeo”, CBS series “Criminal Minds”, and WB’s “Smallville”. Currently Shields can be seen in the feature film “The Invisible”, starring Marcia Gay Harden and “White Noise II”. Other films include “Fierce People” starring Diane Lane and Donald Sutherland, and “The Sandlot 3” alongside Luke Perry. He is now in development on a television dramatic series in which serves as a Co-Creator.
