At long last Michael Moore has found a title -- and a great title at that -- for his latest project that until now was tediously referred to as the Untitled Michael Moore Project. Capitalism: A Love Story will be released domestically on October 2, 2009.

When asked why he chose to make a 'love story,' Moore cheekily stated that it was time for him to make a 'relationship movie.'

"It will be the perfect date movie," said Moore. "It's got it all -- lust, passion, romance, and 14,000 jobs being eliminated every day. It's a forbidden love, one that dare not speak its name. Heck, let's just say it: It's Capitalism."

In Capitalism: A Love Story, Moore returns to the issue that began his career: the disastrous impact that corporate dominance and out-of-control profit motives have on the lives of Americans and citizens of the world.

  • Michael Moore Wants You To Help Save The CEOs!

    Published on: June 15, 2009

In promoting his new movie about the economic crisis, which is untitled at this pooint, Michael Moore pranked moviegoers looking to see 'The Hangoveer" Friday during the previews at the Lincolin Loews Plaza.

While people started looking for their seats, a small camera was nested in the far left corner below the silver screen, looking conspicuous. Once the lights dimmed and a few trailers started to roll, Moore appeared on the screen making a few gags about the CEO bailouts that occurred in the past months. He then grinned devilishly and sarcastically requested that the audience donate money to “save the CEOs.” He then mentioned that ushers would be walking down the aisles to collect the audience’s donations.
