'Waltz With Bashir' nominated for Oscar
Published on: January 30, 2009'Waltz With Bashir' is an animated, foreign-language, feature-length documentary that has received tons of praise and Oscar buzz since premiering at Cannes last May. Now that the race for the 81st Academy Awards officially began Thursday, they have announced the nominees for the various categories. 'Waltz with Bashir,' Ari Folman's widely praised animated film, has been nominated for the category of Best Foreign Language Film. The film is up against american heavy weights Wall-E and Kung Fu Panda. The Academy Awards air February 22nd.
