Interview with Jeffrey Dean Morgan
Published on: March 04, 2009Jeffrey Dean Morgan's career began to soar once he landed a guest role on Grey's Anatomy (TV). The 42 year old actor now finds himself landing sought-after roles such as Edward Blake a.k.a. The Comedian in the graphic novel adaptation Watchmen.
Edward Blake is a disreputable and chauvinistic ex-superhero who is murdered which drives his former colleague, a masked vigilante named Rorschach (Jackie Earle Haley), to begin investigations of the culprit. Slowly we can see it leads to a much more terrifying conclusion.
Morgan talks a little bit about his career and this new DC comic adaption. Watchmen is out in a couple days!
"...I thought it was the coolest-looking costume – but man, it was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever worn. I remember I was sitting in a chair at one stage, reading the paper before my next scene, and when I had to get up I couldn’t … I couldn’t get out of the chair!..."
