Read More »Canada can expect to see When A Man Falls In The Forest to be released in DVD on January 8th, 2008. Peace Arch Entertainment Group has acquired the North American distribution rights to the film in a four picture deal with Insight Film Studios.
"We are delighted with the acquisition of these four films from Insight Film Studios," said Berry Meyerowitz, the president of Peace Arch Home Entertainment.

Vancouver's Insight Film Studios is pleased to announce that When a Man Falls in the Forest will host its U.S. premiere on March 10th, 2007, at the prestigious South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas. Only 16 feature films were chosen from among thousands of entries worldwide to screen in the festival's Main Competition at the Paramount Theatre. When a Man Falls in the Forest was one of them. Producer Mary Aloe of Proud Mary Entertainment and writer/director wunderkind, 25-year-old Ryan Eslinger, will be attending the red carpet domestic premiere. The indie existential-style drama involves three lonely men, one of whom is played by Hutton, whose lives intersect as they search for a connection to overcome a deepening sense of isolation. Stone plays the role of Karen Fields, an unhappily married woman who relieves the stress of a painful personal life by shoplifting. When a Man Falls in the Forest also stars Dylan Baker (Happiness, Spider Man 2) and Pruitt Taylor Vince (Monster). The film is jointly produced by Kirk Shaw of Insight Films and Mary Aloe of Proud Mary Entertainment. Sharon Stone was one of the film's executive producers. Foreign sales are being helmed by executive producer John Laing of Rigel Entertainment. Incorporated in 1990, Insight Film Studios is Western Canada's fastest growing independent film and television production company. Based in Vancouver, it ranks as one of the top ten production companies in all of Canada. In 2006, the company began its foray into the theatrical realm, and is now in the midst of successfully completing five feature films.
