The Gazette has interview funny-man Jim Carrey on his latest role as Carl Allen in 'Yes Man'. The actor talks about returning to physical comedy and shares his thoughts on returning to live stan-up. He also shares his comic inspirations and whos idea it was to cast Flight of the Concords' Rhys Darby as Norman, and what it was like to work with him.

"...And this character, played by Rhys Darby, is so full of love and so wants to be my friend that it becomes incredibly painful for me. The worst thing in the world when you feel broken is to have somebody coming at you with open faced love. Rhys was just genius at it, it was great. Very childlike.."

The Herald Sun has posted an interview with Zooey Deschanel on her latest film with Jim Carrey, 'Yes Man'. Deschanel talks about leaving school for her first role in Cameron Crowe's 'Almost Famous' and doing theater with Kate Hudson. The actress shares she was most excited to work with Carrey and talks a little bit about her character, Alison, an eccentric singer and jogging photography instructor who crosses paths with stuck-in-a-rut bank loan manager Carl (Carrey) while he is in the middle of a self-help program that requires him to say yes to everything. She also touches on her personal life and what's next. 'Yes Man' is out in theaters now.

"...There are definitely double standards as far as men and women are concerned in Hollywood and I don't really know how to change that . . . good examples are probably the best way to change things..."
